Hello, my name is Minister Sabrina Roberts; I am a native Washington. In 1977, I accepted and received Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord. Over the years, I have been blessed to serve the local church as a choir and praise team member, a teacher, both in the adult Sunday school and the Bible Institute, also as Superintendent of Sunday School. I have served as a Bible Teacher in neighborhoods; seniors citizen’s locations; and places of employment.
I have also had the privilege to manage a free tax preparation site in the Northeast section of Washington, D.C. in collaboration with Internal Revenue Service, Children’s Defense Fund, Pilgrim Baptist Church, and New Samaritan Baptist Church which was a platform to lovingly share the Word of God. I am currently facilitating a Roundtable Discussion (Table Talk) every third Friday of each month at the Haborside Hotel (formerly known as Clarion Hotel) in Oxon Hill, Maryland, and teach Bible Study every other Saturday at the Arlington Virginia Detention Center.
Faith Walk Ministry is an outreach ministry privileged to "Awaken the people of God back to God" as Romans 13:11 tells us. This vision from God was received by me in February 2001. The early years of this ministry were filled with me experiencing the name of the Ministry. Indeed, I had to walk by faith. During that time of believing and depending on God, He revealed Himself to me in many new ways. I understand even more that God's grace is sufficient; His mercy is new day-by-day; and His compassion and love is everlasting and never fails.
God’s purpose for me is to awaken the women of God back to God, by nurturing them with the Love of Christ and the Word of God. I am committed to carrying out the vision by demonstrating the reality of Christ in my living, investing in others, and motivating others to advance the Kingdom of God. It is all done through Praying, Bible Studies, Counseling, Conferences, Retreats, and Fellowships.
My passion is to see women's lives transformed upwardly, inwardly, and outwardly. In other words, my focus is to encourage you on your journey of fulfilling God's purpose for your life. My mission is to educate you to think and live a holy life and to proclaim Christ by serving Him in society. (1 Peter 1:14-16; 2 Peter 1:2-11)
As a result of God’s calling on my life and my passion to see lives transformed upwardly, inwardly, and outwardly, I was blessed with an opportunity to enhance my theological foundation (2 Timothy 2:15). I attended Washington Bible College in Lanham, Maryland and obtained an Associate and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies. I continued on to receive my Master of Divinity at Capital Seminary and Graduate School in Greenbelt, Maryland, which was known as Capital Bible Seminary in Lanham, Maryland.
How thankful and grateful I am to be one of God’s servants through Jesus Christ my Savior and Lord and I truly welcome the privilege to fellowship with you in the near future!
