Darla Makela is a life and business coach, professional speaker, author, consultant and retreat hostess who is passionate about helping women transform their lives as they discover how to walk in the call of God. You will be inspired to dream, set goals and take action.

Darla knows firsthand what it means to struggle with her identity and to discover over and over the power of God's love and grace.  

Growing up in a Christian home Darla began to seek out love in all the wrong places as a young teenager.  Marrying young and having a daughter at just 19 was the beginning of many years of struggle in so many ways.  

While struggling to learn who she was in Christ Darla took a very windy path that led her to fully knowing and understanding what God thinks of her and how much she is loved.

Because of her journey to healing and wholeness, Darla is fully equipped to inspire and lead others to the same grace and love that she has experienced.

With a focus on equipping women to walk in the purpose that God created them for, she teaches them to know and understand the gift of the Armor of God and utilize it in their life on a daily basis.

Darla understands that it is more than just saying it and being set free and healed.  It is learning to change your mindset and truly focus on the truths that God has for us.  Much of her teaching is interactive with challenges and takeaways that equip women to apply these truths to their life so that they can experience God's transformation in their life!

Having spent many years leading women's ministries, Darla is passionate about women understanding these principles and standing tall as the beautiful and powerful warriors that they are!

Darla is married to the love of her life, Mom to a beautiful daughter, Step-mom to three amazing young ladies, and Nana to the five sweetest little humans ever!
