Tara Powell is a sought after Christian Speaker whose ministry focuses on serving the hurting and bringing them to the healing power of Jesus Christ. After the death of her son, in 1996, she devoted her life to helping the hurt, the lost and the dying. With twenty-five years of Christian ministry her passion is evident, she simply loves Jesus; and, living proof that our pain has purpose.
Tara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Ministry and is certified in Pastoral Thanatology (study of death and dying) as well as Grief Counseling. She is a Licensed Minister of the Gospel and is known for her expertise in end of life care.
Leading successful Grief Support Groups in her career, Tara facilitates a No One Dies Alone volunteer program and travels to speak to professionals and help them to understand the needs of the dying and their care giving challenges.
