HOW IT ALL BEGAN....
Latanya has always had a desire in her heart to serve hurting people. This desire led her to pursue an undergraduate degree in special education to teach emotionally impaired children. After around four years of teaching, she begin to want to help bring a deeper healing to the issues that she witnessed were plaquing the hearts and spirits of those she served. Latanya began the pursuit of her Master's Degree in Social Work. During this same time she began to develop a deep sensitivity to the needs, hurts, and issues of women. As Latanya served in her church, she began to sense a call of God on her life to minister to women. Leading Women's Ministry and operating in leadership within her church, Latanya found herself being used of God in sharing his word as a speaker and teacher. After years of serving in Women's Ministry, Latanya was appointed as a lay minister at her local church and began to preach the Word of God. Over the years, she has served in various capacities in the church including Sunday School Teacher, Children's Church Director and Teacher, Teen Ministry Leader, Women's Ministry Leader, Praise and Worship/Choir Member, Performance Art Participant, Church Leadership Team Member, Prayer Ministry, and a member of the Ministerial Staff. Latanya is the owner of Elevation Empowerment Services LLC, a private practice offering counseling and teaching.

Today, I am convinced, without a shadow of a doubt, that God has called, anointed, and appointed me to minister to women. The hand of God is working and doing with my life what he created me to do from before time began, for His Glory!" I minister to women using my own experiences and testimony to set them free from the bondage of worldly thinking that manifests in low self-esteem, fear, and approval seeking."
