More About Marcy Brooks

In 1990 I was diagnosed with a severe case of Fibromyalgia. That was the best thing that ever happened to me because the ramifications challenged me to become like the Phoenix and rise from the ashes. I was a preacher's daughter and a preacher's wife and I defined my life by how good I was and how many people I touched. After the 1990 crisis, I learned that God wants, first of all, to be in relationship with Him and secondly to be the person He created me to be.

I learned that every single person alive has a Challenge presented to them at some point. They have to choose to be the person God meant for them to be and make the difference they were created to make or continue to be the victim of their circumstances, living some other life than their own.

Over the years, I worked in major corporations, taught in public schools and even managed a fast food restaurant.

I have two bachelor degrees, one in Biblical Literature and the other in Organizational Development. After 27 hours toward a Masters in Counseling, I chose to become a life coach instead. The two year program for coaching was the most practical information I ever learned.

I have two grown children, six grandchildren and live in the beautiful mountains of East Tennessee. My passion is to release others from their boxes and empower them to live the lives they were created to live so they can make the difference they were created to make.
