Kathryn McClatchy is a Bible teacher who inspires women to learn Scripture and apply it to their everyday lives. Be encouraged, and leave equipped to identify and celebrate the miracles God is working in and around you.

Kathryn was blessed to grow up in a Christian family, to attend Bible-teaching churches, and to accept Christ as her Savior as a child. She met her husband while attending Hardin-Simmons University, a small Baptist university in Abilene, TX.
Kathryn started her career in marketing and advertising, then segued into academia teaching literature, composition, research skills, and rhetoric. Her early and strong faith in God and knowledge of scripture became her practical salvation when in 2006, as she was finishing her Master's degree and preparing to start her PhD, Kathryn suffered the first of many strokes. One day she was a college professor, the next day she was having to relearn to read, write, talk, walk, and pretty much everything else again.
In the last decade, Kathryn has applied her education and experience to reinventing herself as a writer and public speaker. In addition to writing thrillers and creative nonfiction, Kathryn has created and/or managed social media campaigns for local, national, and international organizations, created and facilitated a flash fiction contest for the Writers Guild of Texas that has since been named after her, and coaches writers and businesses on platform building, productivity, ADA Compliance, and writing (creative, content, and copy). But more than anything, Kathryn loves teaching the Bible and encouraging women that our Heavenly Father is good, faithful, and worthy to be trusted, even when everything around us screams otherwise.
