Elaine Goddard is a disciple of the LORD Jesus Christ and declares that He is her Savior, Redeemer, and LORD. She is a graduate of Baylor University and worked at NASA for 16 years in the Space Shuttle and Space Station Electrical Power Systems and Flight Software. The Lord called Elaine out of NASA with the passion to help others deepen their relationship with God through prayer, the pursuit of His Presence, and inner healing. She served over 7 years at the House of Prayer Pearland as a Prayer Intercessor and Prayer Trainer. Her greatest desire is to live centered in the presence of the God that is always with her and to encourage other believers in their journey of the Presence centered life.
Elaine enjoys sharing and working with groups of all sizes in the forms of retreats, dinners, MOPs groups, bible study groups and prayer groups. She is available to minister to your by group leading prayer & intercession and/or providing prayer & intercession training workshops and retreats. Elaine serves the body of Christ as a prayer trainer, Christian life coach, speaker, and teacher. She has written a Bible study: Time to Pray and authors an online daily prayer devotional: From my Prayer Closet to Yours.
In addition to her passion to share the prayer-filled life, Elaine also frequently speaks and shares about her adoption journey and how she and Tom answered the call God placed on their hearts.
Elaine and her husband Tom are active members of the Friendswood Methodist Church. Elaine and Tom’s five children range from young and still at home to grown and out on their own.
