Collene Borchardt is an author, speaker, and blogger who helps women experience God amidst suffering. She is also a wife, and mother of three adventurous children, three crazy dogs, and one spoiled cat.  

As a chronic illness warrior and former prodigal daughter, Collene will inspire you to see the good, lean into hope, and cultivate a deeper faith in the God who passionately loves you.

As a young mother, Collene was diagnosed with the hyperadrenergic subtype of Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). Being a chronic illness warrior has helped her learn firsthand what Paul meant when he said God was his strength in his weakness. 

Her writing has been featured in publications by Proverbs 31 Ministries, Her View from Home, Living By Design, and many other Christian websites. Through her messages, talks, retreats, and workshops you will learn how to walk with Jesus, deepen your faith, and place your trust in God . . . even in the hard times of life. 

Because while life doesn't always feel good, we can have faith that God is working all things out for our good. (Romans 8:28) And as we learn to move toward God in our pain, He can take it and use it for something great. 

As a former prodigal daughter, Collene also loves to tell everyone about God’s amazing grace and reckless love that fully embraced her when she turned from her sin and ran home to Him.
