Dr. DeLores Pressley, Minister, International Keynote Speaker and Life Coach, is dedicated to helping people be bold, confident, courageous and live a marvelous life. She is President of DeLores Pressley Worldwide and the Founder and Executive Director of She Elevates™, a non-profit organization created to empower girls to become leaders, entrepreneurs and CEOs.
As a former elementary school teacher and a pioneer of the plus size fashion and modeling industry, DeLores has inspired and helped motivate thousands to be their absolute best. Her client list ranges from Fortune 500 companies to government agencies, including Ford Motors, Procter and Gamble (P&G), Nationwide Insurance, Union Pacific Railroad, Roche Pharmaceutical and the Turks & Caicos Government. Her story has been touted in publications from the Washington Post to Ebony Magazine. She has appeared on the CW Network on the hit show Married to Medicine. She is a frequent media guest and has been interviewed on every major network: including Entertainment Tonight and the Oprah Winfrey Show.
DeLores is the author of five books and a former contributing columnist for Smart Business Magazine. She served as Past President for the National Speakers Association’s Ohio Chapter Board of Director, Board Member of the O’Jays Scholarship Committee and Past President of The ABCD, Inc. Board. She is a spokesperson for Humanitarian Hands Charities. She is an Inductee of the YWCA’s Stark County Women’s Hall of Fame and the Women of Color Foundation’s Hall of Fame. She received the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from the President Obama Administration.
DeLores is no stranger to serving God. She accepted Christ at the early age of 10 and has been active in ministry most of her life. She has worked in church as a lead singer, founder of Women’s Ministries and a Minister. She is the leader of a Connect Group for Christian Women Business Owners at Faith Family Church in Canton, OH. She received an honorary degree; Doctor of Divinity from Shekinah Glory School of Divinity and earned her badge of Chaplaincy from CICA International. She has been married for 40 years to the love of her life; Deacon Grant Pressley.
