Lisa Cassman is a licensed counselor, minister, author and speaker. Through stories, Scripture and step-by-step insights, you'll discover how to let go of past hurts and heartaches. A Minnesota native, Lisa has more than 20 years experience counseling children and families in the church. She also has a cosmetology license and currently is an owner of a spa.
She has a PhD degree in Clinical Pastoral Counseling from the Colorado Theological Seminary which is accredited through the National Christian Counseling Association (NCCA), and is also certified to administer the Arno Profile System (A.P.S.) report, which is a personal identification/inventory.
Cassman has written six books, released by Halo Publishing International, one about marital relationships. “The Road Less Traveled: A Guide to a Positive Marriage,” was inspired while on a road trip with her husband, Steve, in his semi-truck traveling along the West Coast. From her professional experience, she pours her inspirational insight and her own personal understanding of relationships into her work and guiding others through marriage. " Finding the Beautiful You", this book is based on the Self Worth teaching she presents at events. "Stepping Into Growth" is a self esteem workbook.
"Talk Before Text " is a prayer journal guide, to help you with every day topics and ideas of what or who to pray for, along with room to journal what or who you prayed for that day.
" Buddy and His Big Truck" is a children's book on the life of a truck driver. Lisa goes to schools to read this along with a presentation on different trucks and trailers.
Her poetry book, “The Light in Your Eyes,” was written across the last 30 years. It documents Cassman’s journey into what love means, as her husband showed her, starting when they were hopeful teens.
She has recently released " Gratitude plus Grace = Growth", a thirty one day devotional.
In addition to her books, Cassman is a speaker at conferences, churches, workshops and seminars. Her self-worth seminars teach men and woman how to like themselves and receive healing through God. She also does pre-marital counseling for couples and trains them how to like themselves, so they can have a successful marriage. As a licensed, traveling minister, Cassman officiates over 30 marriages a year.
Lisa is a monthly guest on Sirius XM radio with Tim Ridley channel 146. (Every third Wednesday at 5:30 am)

Was so Inspired by Lisa's message at last retreat, she had in Baxter. She is an amazing speaker and very uplifting In addressing challenges in everyday life And solutions to coping with them. Came away from there feeling so Positive on life in general .

I attended a speaking conference with Lisa Cassman as the keynote speaker and was very impressed with her knowledge and Godly presentation. She speaks from the heart and says things in a way anyone can understand. She also shares her own experiences and trials. Truly a woman of God! All around FANTASTIC speaker!

Lisa spoke on self esteem to our students (grades 6-12) and remained relevant and interesting the entire time. She can hold the attention of her audience and is incredibly flexible based on the group she is speaking to!

I was amazed when I heard Lisa speak. Her depth and knowledge of a person's pain and struggle have been taught to her by her own life experiences. I would say that if her message wasn't for you, I guarantee there's someone you know that would be helped and encouraged by Lisa's message. Lisa is a very compassionate woman who speaks from the depth of her heart and soul. Her goal is to spread the joy and love that she finally experienced on the road less traveled.

Our Christian Women's Board met yesterday. I would like to share their comments regarding our experience with Lisa Cassman as our speaker. We received excellent comments from our guests. Two in particular mentioned how helpful her message and handout were to them. She shared from her personal and professional experience, which gave her a great deal of credibility. She was very eloquent. Gifted as a speaker. I personally saw her the following day at the mall in Brainerd and felt like I was reconnected with an old friend. I even met her husband. The ladies also loved getting her great pens. We would strongly recommend her as a speaker for any group.
