Marlene spoke at our Retreat for Michigan Administrators in Ministry, a chapter of PAUMCS, last Monday! She was fabulous! Funny, spiritual, irreverent, uplifting, and just really wonderful and friendly and easy to get to know! I personally purchased both of her books, "The I Peter 3 Girsl" and "Does This Outfit Make Me Look Fat?" and am really looking forward to reading them! I anticipate quoting her often when engaged in bringing God's message to my congregation! Thanks Marlene! You are awesome!

Marlene is a very engaging speaker and used stories from her life coupled with scripture to great affect. I definitely came away thinking differently about myself and the way I handle my job and attitude towards my role in general.

Marlene was our guest speaker at our Fall Retreat this past weekend. Her humor and relatable stories were so welcoming and enjoyed by all the attendees. If you are looking for a speaker to keep you in stitches and keep you grounded in the word of Christ then she is the speaker for you.

Marlene was a delight to have as our conference speaker. She was funny, yet well grounded in the word of God. She was easy to work with, very accommodating, and very well liked by all the women! Would not hesitate to recommend her to others, or to use her again at a later date.

Marlene spoke at our annual Winter Tea earlier this year. She was exciting, funny and a pleasure to listen to. She really challenged us with what she shared, and we were privileged to have her with us that evening. I would recommend her highly for another event.

Pat Wilkins, Co—Program Chairman of the Women’s Celebration

Marlene was the speaker for our annual Women’s Celebration, a day we celebrate the women in our church and community, and inspire them to be all they can be as Christian women. Marlene was a total delight, from our back and forth emails planning the event, to her arrival at our celebration! She was wonderful to work with, very prompt on answering all of my emails, and patient as I screwed up some of my messages! She had the group of about 80 women, howling with laughter, seriously soul searching, inspiring us to go to God’s word and really know it, and encouraging us to be o.k. With who are, and encouraged us to get real with each other. We would love to have her back sometime. We would highly recommend her, she has, and is, a real gift!

Lois Puglisi, Co-coordinator, Womens Ministries' Winter Candlelight Tea

Marlene spoke at our women’s ministries’ annual Winter Candlelight Tea, and the ladies loved her humorous, down-to-earth, and motivational message. Afterward, people told me she had encouraged them to read the Bible more and to “be real” with their sisters in Christ about both their joys and struggles in life. Marlene took care to tailor her presentation to our particular group, and supportively provided a short, energetic video beforehand to help promote the event. She is earnest in her desire to share what it means to walk with Christ through the real issues we face in life, and to encourage women to follow Him wholeheartedly. It was a special and memorable evening for the ladies.

Marlene is fantastic! Genuine and real! She spoke at our retreat and was a delight! She spent so much time getting to know us before so she could tailor her talk to our needs. She is funny and entertaining along with getting us into God's word and challenging us in our walk with the Lord!

Marlene is funny, fabulous, and filled with truth. She unapologetically shares the Good News. She is relevant, relational, and holds nothing back. She does this through humor and real life examples to reach your heart and point you to Jesus. She can speak to every age group and relate to where they are in life. Every time I hear Marlene speak I am challenged, encouraged, and inspired. She is a source of Truth. If you haven’t heard her speak, you need to!

Marlene is a dynamic speaker who walks the talk. Sharing from her heart the real struggles and growth in her life draws women closer to God because of how relatable she is. With wisdom beyond her years knowing she does not have all the answers trusts completely the one who does. She is a blessing to every single person who hears her speak from her heart.

We had Marlene Lawson speak at a ladies breakfast at our church and we were so blessed! We had a variety of ages represented and her presentation was applicable to all. We recommend her for any setting! You will love the humor and you will also be encouraged to take your next step with Jesus. We also had her come speak to a smaller group and instruct us on how to mentor other ladies and encourage them without enabling. So helpful!

Marlene is relevant, engaging, and entertaining. She values interacting with people and connecting with them in a personal way. Marlene really made an impact on so many ladies during the retreat and continued her relationship with several of them long after the retreat was over. She has a clever way of using family and personal experience to reach people and make them feel like friends, instead of strangers. More importantly, Marlene knows and loves the Word of God and teaches it with reverence and integrity, guiding ladies to answers they need for today.

Marlene spoke at our Autumn Gala 2017, our most significant fundraiser of the year. She did an outstanding job connecting our guests with the vision and ministry. She was funny yet compelling; down to Earth yet visionary. Marlene met with us several times before the event to fully grasp our ministry vision and our event goals. This not only showed us that she was committed to the success of our event, but also gave her the tools to convey our ministy’s importance to our guests at the Gala. She is committed to every task she undertakes and is unwaveringly passionate for the work of the Lord.

Marlene spoke at our ladies conference here at our church. She has the amazing ability to make you laugh one minute and cry the next. She is very upbeat and has the ability to engage an audience of all ages. The best part is her ability to be real about her life and her relationship with Jesus. She has a desire to bring everyone closer in their relationship with Christ! Loved hearing her speak!!!

For my daughters Wedding Shower we were going to have over 75 people, so we chose to have a speaker instead of opening gifts. We asked Marlene to speak about marriage and to be an encouragement both to the believer and unbeliever. She did this splendidly and everyone enjoyed the talk. Would highly recommend!
