Patsy is married to Ralph McSpadden and is the mother of two children, a son and daughter, and the grandmother of seven. She enjoys speaking and writing about her insights and understanding of the word of God and has been a student of the Bible since childhood when her grandmother would call her every night at 9:00 pm to remind her to read a chapter. Patsy's primary focus and ministry is prayer. She founded In the Garden, LLC in 2016 for the purpose of developing a ministry of encouragement to women in regard to the absolute necessity of prayer in their lives and in their churches.
She is a voluntary member of a prayer team that meets each Sunday morning prior to the start of church services to pray for the church, the members, visitors and ministries scheduled for the day.
Patsy's statement of faith: "I believe in the trinity, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. I believe Jesus died for our sins, was buried and resurrected that all who believe might have everlasting life. I believe He is the only way to God and that He will come again for His bride, the church. I believe the Holy Spirit is given to us as a comfort, a guide, a teacher and the One who abides within believers to empower them to do the Will of God. I believe the Bible is the inspired and inerrant word of God that holds all the wisdom we need to live meaningfully now and forever."
