Nice to meet you! I’m Angela Sackett: a wife and mama, book junkie, foodie, a photographer/light geek, a lover of words (written, spoken, and sung), and I’m passionate about inspiring women through those words and through images created to tell the story of Truth.
As a full-time ministry wife and home educator, my “sharp edge” is constantly being refined as a more useful tool of grace in the hands of my Father. I want nothing more than to have my feet on the ground and my eyes on the sky, being fully and intentionally in the moment with my family and friends, but anticipating the things God has for us next.
I am passionate about encouraging women to "get our face in the Word," and then to get our hands and hearts busy walking out life as God leads us, for His glory and our good. I love encouraging mamas to use their calling to raise godly arrows, as a vehicle to also be salt and light in our homes, our neighborhoods, our world. One of the greatest ways we can do that is by opening our homes, setting our tables or brewing a cup of something hot, and "awakening the palate to nourish the soul."
I write and speak about food as a vehicle for gospel truth, I teach and mentor women in parenting and in becoming more attentive students of the Bible, and I challenge everyone I can to go deeper with Christ.
My blog and social media outlets (Everyday Welcome) are where I encourage and equip women to open their hearts and homes to know God more deeply and to share Him with others.
