More About Daunetta Hagens

I was born, raised and received my education in Baltimore, Md. I’m a mom of 4 adult children, whom I raised alone, a grandmother of 9 beautiful grandkids. I have always a deep desire to aid in the healing of others who deal with emotional, spiritual and physical scars. I believe that we need to understand our self-worth and move beyond our own imagination and see Gods purpose for our lives. I’ve always had the desire to empower others and to move beyond their circumstances, succeed in life and be effective in the Kingdom of God. During my lifetime I’ve seen lots of dark places in my life, but because of my faith in God, I’ve always comes through on top. When I thought that God was calling me to public ministry I questioned God, Why? God assured her that I exactly the type of women that He needs to carry this mantle. I have proven to be open vessel willing to be used of God. I have encouragement in my belly, a story on my lips and a heart to help others. I a min no way a perfect person and flawed just like others, but in this season I believe that God has anointed me as an open vessel, who said yes to being used. I’ve taken off the sneakers and stopped running from my God given assignment. 

I started my walk with the Lord at First Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church, where Bishop Oscar Brown is the Pastor. I was an active member of the Youth and Young adult and Vacation Bible school ministries. That’s where I started the journey towards public ministry and was a part of the Ministers in Training Class there. After many years there, I was released to move to another Ministry, which was The Empowerment Temple. Shortly after joining there, I realized that that was just an avenue to allow me to see ministry in a different way. I soon started attending and soon joined Victorious Ministries International, where the Pastor and Prophet is Pastor Tony Smith. Pastor Tony Smith was and has been a driving force for me. His brief conversation with her on February 16, 2014, released her to MOVE FORWARD!!! That's when Not Alone Women's Ministries was actually birthed. Once the ministry manifested, I was seeking more. I didn’t know where to turn. I didn't want to leave my Church because my Pastor had instilled so much into me, but I also couldn’t stay in a place that I felt it was time to depart out of loyalty. I never wanted Pastor Tony to feel like I didn't appreciate him, but it was time to go. I soon joined Life Impact Church under the Leadership of Pastor Donnie Neal. I wanted to just come to Church and just get what I needed, but God had other plans. I got what I needed, but there are also others that God has waiting for me to get in line.Through this ministry I have been able to utilize my gifts. Pastor Neal saw some things in me that I was trying to hide, but we know the Holy Ghost does not work like that. I am so grateful that he pulls me and pushes me to be who God called me to be. And so we end up here and I am deeply humbled. Who would have ever thought that God would use someone like me? Not I, but I am ready for this next level with God. Daunetta was ordained to the office of Elder on Sunday, May 19, 2019 and she looks forward to see what else God is going to do in her and through her. To God Be the Glory for the Great and Marvelous things He is doing! We pray that you will support and receive the blessings that will manifest through it. Remember: You are NOT ALONE!
