I believe it. There is evidence of it all through the Bible. For one, Ruth is the clearest, sweetest, and in my mind most complete picture and explanation of the gospel I've ever heard. The last chapter of my book on her story (Love's Playbook #7) encapsulates it, and I wasn't happy with it. It wasn't exuberant enough--didn't portray the way I felt. So I waited a while and wrote it again. It still wasn't satisfactory, but my sister said it was very good. I said it didn't convey the feeling of the story. She said, "But if they've just read the story they will feel what you felt." And then it was good enough.
There are many other little and big examples in Scripture of God's special love and care for women, in cultures that didn't even value the life of men and much less the life of women! We were (are) a down-trodden lot, especially hated by Satan, and it shows in history. But God lifts us up! Jesus treated women with the utmost respect and kindness!
This talk is about 20 minutes and provides solid evidence for a definite feel-good for women! And gives us passion and encouragement to pursue a personal relationship with God!
