This is the story of the beginning of evil. Drawing from Biblical allusions to Satan and from commentaries and sources like Paradise Lost, Arla, a family-systems therapist has imagined what it was like to have one of his brightest and best children choose to separate from Them and go his own way, taking many with him.
This is the imaginative story of the gradual ruin sin caused in a perfect being. God's long program and many attempts over perhaps millions of years to reclaim him and draw him back into love and safety. The story begins with plans for our creation, and why it gets delayed for Lucifer's sake. It clearly demonstrates the goodness and love of God, the long-suffering, and the beautiful offer of Adonai to rescue and reclaim us, and the difficulty Abba and Ruach have accepting it. And finally it shows how Lucifer becomes Satan and has to leave the City of God, and how hard it was for everyone. It ends with the plan to go ahead with our creation. And end with "the beginning."
