Who May Dwell in the Tabernacle?

WHO MAY DWELL IN THE TABERNACLE - "Lord, what can I be and do that I may abide in your tabernacle? It should be of great concern to us, who shall dwell in the tabernacle, and we should assure ourselves that we shall have a place among them.

God is omnipotent and a God of excellence and true order of divine principles and His ways changes not. There is far too much offense to God when we lower the standards of God to make for the room to fit the standards of man. But the question of the humble is “who can abide”? It will not be all of us it will be the honoree. There are prerequisites in the eyes of God in order to fulfill this cry for those who carry it. There is a character of the godly, that the focus in heaven.

If you are not in ministries that draw you to Jesus Christ, relocate now! It is but a spiritual death trap.

Only those who are conformed into the image of Jesus can ever stand with the acceptance before His majesty. Thou High and Holy One, who shall be permitted to have fellowship with thee? Who has the preparation of the heart, which fits them to be inmates of the house of God in heaven?

If we are not wearing the wedding-dress of righteousness in Christ Jesus, then we have no right to sit at the banquet of communion. “He who walks blameless and does what is right speaks truth in his heart” (Ps 15:.2). A clean and pure reputation and a steady heart of repentance is a requirement. The way to heaven is that of a holy life. In simpler terms, living a righteous life with sincere intentions. Let life be palatable to all we touch.

The backbiter, the jealous, the envious, unforgiving, the deceiver… ponder on these things. Let’s begin to inspect our ways and our motives. “Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting” (Ps 139:1-23) NIV. A man must be righteous before he can walk in a righteous life.

If we don’t function with up righteousness in the imperfect church on the earth; then certainly we must not hope to enter the perfect church in heaven.

Without the integrity of the believer, the best we can offer God is but a substitute and oftentimes the counterfeit of our ways.

It is our walk, our work, and the use of His word. “He that walketh uprightly”, they have the backbone of the principles of grace deep within. If we can walk upright, then we are able to walk uprightly. “He worketh righteousness”. It is our faith that will manifest good works. A tree that bears no fruit will be hewn (cut in pieces) and cast into the fire” (Matt 7:19)

A righteous man “ …Speaketh, the truth in his heart”. Therefore, to the flattery and deception, he dares not because God is there in his heart listening. To the lies and equivocations or being intentionally vague, God is listening. The insidious behaviors, He is still watching. Even in the secret chambers of his heart, he is reminded… the image of God is within him. “ Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? (Psalm 1:7)

“He that backbiteth not with his tongue. We sin with the heart but is the tongue that is employed and cuts and wounds so deep it is unbearable to heal. Let us speak as we think, let our tongues must be faithful interpreters or our minds. Abhor all that lacks the representation of Jesus Christ.

We can only become righteous solely by faith, through the righteousness of Jesus Christ imputed to us.
