Recovering from Perfectionism

Perfectionism limits God’s ability to work through broken vessels, crushes hope and steals joy. Journey with Barb from obsession to freedom in Christ as we learn to trust God more, let go of fear and embrace life.

From Barb:

As a recovering perfectionist, I’ve learned that shooting for perfection doesn’t guarantee a perfect outcome.  After all, Jesus was perfect and we still killed him. So why do we obsess over our every action, every move and everyone else’s moves around us?

God promises His yoke is easy and His burden is light! Matthew 11:30

Get ready to:

  • Let go of fear and your need to stay in control.
  • Embrace the messiness of a faithful, God led life.
  • Trust that God can use you wherever you find yourself.

Join me on this journey toward true spiritual freedom as we understand anew Paul’s declaration in II Corinthians 12:10, “I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
