Ministering to Inmates

Your local jail or prison is a mission field like no other! Whether volunteering to lead a Bible study in your local jail, visiting inmates one-on-one, or writing to prison inmates across the country, God can use YOU in this ministry!

This inspiring presentation includes true stories of God's redeeming work in inmates' lives, and well as practical tips for ministering to those behind bars.

Amy has been involved in leading Bible studies at the local county jail for several years. She is also deeply committed to her Christian pen pal ministry. She and her husband write regularly to a dozen or so inmates across the country, sharing the love of God. The spiritual rewards are enormous--for both parties.

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.  For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."

Matt. 25:34-26 NIV
