This talk uses Psalm 78:2-8 and Titus 2:3-5 to emphasize the important work we have to do to hand down our faith through the example we set day to day as well as through our relationships built in the body of Christ. Beth also discusses more formal forms of mentoring and discipleship.
When we mentor there is a woman sitting across from us. According to scripture she is not the only one the mentor will influence. As she is taught, she will pass it to the next generation. As faith and understanding grows, so grows the family and, Lord willing, the family of God.
