"Ladies, Let's Do LIfe Together, (Become an Encourager!)"

In his book, Just a Minute, Wess Stafford, former president of Compassion International, shares with his reader how in just a minute's time,we can build up the life of a child, or sadly, tear it down.  I'd like to add to Stafford's thoughts that adults are no different.  We women crave encouragement and support from each other.  In Matthew 15:18, we learn that "the things which come out of our mouth come from the heart."  Through prayer and practice, we can learn to choose carefully our words, words that draw others, as well as ourselves, closer to Christ.

Kim's message, "Ladies, Let's Do LIfe Together, (Become an Encourager)," shares the need to intentionally practice the use of our words for encouragement and support of others.  Knowing the difference between compliments and Biblical encouragement, as well as discussing types of talk to avoid are key points in Kim's message.

You will leave Kim's presentation excited about following God's instruction found in Ephesians 4, "Be kind and compassionate with one another, forgiving each other just as Christ forgave you."  As we consider the way in which Christ loved and forgave us, we can learn to do the same for each other, creating a unity among women who live for Christ.
