There are two types of people in the Body of Christ – the kissers and the cleavers. Some have called them the “daters” and the “romancers” which might even be better terms for us to use since these words really help to define the two personalities. Jan talks about two approaches to relationship with Christ, one bearing eternal fruit and the other headed on an empty path void of eternal fruit. The question boils down to ... do you simply meet Jesus at the altar and be on your merry way? Or, do you meet Him and nurture a life-long relationship based on total surrender.
