This topic begins with my testimony and very transparent discussion about adoption from the unique perspective of an adopted child, adoptive mother of special needs children, and child of God.
As I share my story, there is a balance of laughter, joy and relatable pain -- it's a discussion/teaching combination that focuses on the amazing gift of Adoption by God as His sons and daughters. Just like our walk with God, there are days that include tears, disappointments and even pain through they are always overshadowed by assurances of His love and acceptance.
My story concludes with a blend of excitement and disillusionment related to the search for and reuniting with biological family from both personal perspective and that of an adoptive parent.
This testimony is not just for those interested in or involved in adoption. It is something every woman can relate to as she seeks to obey God and learn through mistakes while enjoying the rewards of obedience.
What an amazing God we serve as He sets the pattern for us all as His adopted family. Only God could have invented such a unique and fulfilling relationship lathered with grace, mercy and eternal love!
