More About Earma Brown

Media Missionary, Pastor and 12 book Authorpreneur, Earma Brown teaches servant leadership principles to leaders and helps ministry teams in the local church. Also, she greatly enjoys teaching and imparting to women about their destiny, purpose and living their legacy for the generations to come.

Her Story

Earma Brown recommitted her life to Jesus, at the age of 27, when a young man witnessing to her described her conversation with God fourteen years earlier. Between her and God, she said as a new teenager, "I'm too young to teach the people of God. I need to go find out what life is about. I'll be back God..." Her life then took a downward trend. Through all of the twist and turns, years later she found herself talking to a young man that insisted God loved her. He said God told him to tell her the story of Saul who became Apostle Paul. And tell her I want her back now. You said you would be back...The rest is history and nearly thirty years ago. Her life was radically changed through the work of the Holy Spirit. Her passion and mission became making Christ disciples by teaching and preaching the gospel and kingdom of Jesus Christ. For ten years, Earma and her late husband Varn Brown taught Bible studies in the maximum security jails of Dallas County and Gatesville, Texas prison. They served and led teams with the Be Free Jail & Prison Ministries. Later, God moved them to give greater focus and support in the local church, Covenant Church in Carrollton, Texas. After obeying that leading, they supported and led small groups through their church's Helps Ministry, an Armorbearer Team and the armorbearer set of books were birthed. In the midst around the year 2000, God spoke another time and commanded them to feed His sheep (not in another location) but online. Armorbearers International was born with the purpose and goal to see God and His kingdom represented online. Her thought was when someone typed in armorbearer or servant leader some wholesome, good and excellent instruction on how to serve in your local church would come up in the results. God blessed that effort with thousands of subscribers and visitors.Currently, in the midst of a church plant, her husband passed away in 2017. God has since commissioned her to continue the work He started so many years ago. For He is faithful to complete the good work he started. She continues to feed his sheep online with ongoing preparations to launch the church plant, Grace Covenant Church. Becoming famous for her teaching and preaching online, Pastor Earma is also known as a Media Missionary. You can find a collection of her books, Bible study courses, book clubs, podcasts and other servant leader resources on the website http://attheparsonage.comHer women's ministry WOW! Women Global began while they were teaching in the maximum security jail in Dallas. Her husband taught the men with a friend. And she taught with a mentor named Connie. Connie was going to be out of town and asked Earma to teach the class in her absence. After assisting and observing Connie struggle to teach this class of about thirty inmates for that season, she cried out to God for his help. He responded with, "Tell them they're WOW! Women of Worth, My women of worth (with detailed instructions on what to do)..." To say He responded is putting it mildly. He showed up and showed out according to Earma.
