But as for me, I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love. For you have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress.

My husband Jon and I have been married since 2008 and like many couples, we struggled with the heartache of infertility. As we walked through this difficult journey, we experienced disappointment and tragic losses that eventually led us to adoption. After surviving a failed adoption, God picked up all our broken pieces and put our hearts back together with the blessing of our son through the gift of adoption. We felt sure the days of devastation were behind us.

As a family in 2020, we suffered the impact of critical illness where my husband was hospitalized for 45 days and we were separated from us. There were many days that there was more bad news than good news regarding his progress. While he was fighting for his life, we were home praying for a miracle.  God saved his life and has been faithful to provide for and protect our family through every step. We have learned to trust God in difficult times and boldly share with others what God has done for our family.

We believe that as believers, "we are not called to sit but to serve". We have the undeserved privilege of serving as a family in our church through food pantry ministries, as well as leading a small group together. I have served in women's ministry leading Bible studies and leading a team to plan conferences. Through time speaking at these conferences, God has lit a fire in my soul for teaching His Word. I am blessed with the opportunity to use the gifts God has given me in a way that glorifies Him and encourages others, especially His beloved daughters.
