More About Judith Eick

I grew up on a dairy farm- a farmer’s daughter with a love for the land.  Our family established a farm in 1853 in mid-Michigan. A farmer has to have significant faith because so much is out of his control. I cling to that faith. I am an only daughter and I have two older brothers. Paper and pencils are my favorite tools; I have always enjoyed reading and writing. As a young girl, I often walked back to the woods or somewhere quiet and wrote poems. I married and had two children. When they entered school, I attended college and became a registered nurse. I later returned to college and completed a B.S.N. program at University of Michigan, Flint. I have practiced in several different areas of nursing and served as a parish nurse for fourteen years. My grandfather and father collected antiques. I loved to hear them tell stories about their antiques. They taught me the story of ‘family’ is precious.

I enjoy cooking and believe that a recipe is a place to start.

I enjoy gardening and will never, not ever plant flowers in rows.

I collect seeds from year to year and hang my laundry outside in the sunshine.

October is my favorite month of the year.

Karin Beery, President Of Great Lakes Chapter Of ACFW

Judy Eick is an engaging, educational, and entertaining speaker. She appealed to all of our attendees, and we enjoyed her so much that we immediately rebooked her for the following year to make sure more of our members would have the chance to listen to and benefit from her presentation.

Pastor John Kaiser, Sr. Pastor

I have been Judy Eick’s pastor for 14 years. She had served as our Parish Nurse at St. Paul for over ten years so I know her very well. She is a faithful Christian woman who loves her Lord Jesus with all her heart and is totally committed to bringing the Gospel to others in acts of kindness and words of love. Judy Is a very skilled and competent nurse who was completely dedicated to serving her Lord as parish nurse with very little compensation. She is faithful in her worship and Bible study. She is articulate and energetic. I give my highest recommendation for her.

Judy Rasys Huhta, Member And Officer Of Toastmasters 4890

It is always a pleasure to hear Judy Eick speak at our Rochester Toastmaster Club meetings. Her speeches are always professional, engaging and thought provoking. Her talents and proficiency show themselves in all of her speeches and I look forward to hearing her speak, when I see her name on the agenda. Judy clearly enjoys her craft, and her sincerity and skills shine through all of her speeches. As a long standing member and officer of the Club, I feel qualified to say that she is one of our jewels and we are lucky indeed to have her as a member.

Willa Lucas, Member of the Christmas Tea- planning committee

Judy Eick spoke at Flint First Wesleyan Church last December for our Ladies Tea. She is an inspirational speaker who impressed everyone with her Bible references to the story she told. Judy included personal information, which made everyone feel they got to know her personally. She also brought her spinning wheel. We enjoyed watching her spin wool into yarn. Her speaking was discussed among our women at the church for several weeks afterwards.
