Women of Integrity Winnipeg began as a desire for women’s fellowship within the city. Our founder, Esther Bissell, began organizing WOI’s first event through the help of family, friends, and an ever-growing circle of Christian women across Winnipeg.
WOI is a non-profit and proudly non-denominational Christian group run by volunteers. Our goal is to bring women together and empower them to pursue the fullness of Jesus Christ. To accomplish this we invite motivational women of interest to lead our women’s conferences. Each event follows a different note of inspiration, but every event is held to nurture the relationship between us and Jesus Christ.

Our Mission
Our mission is to empower, encourage, and support women in their walk with God. We desire to help fulfill the Great Commission by discipling women, helping them to embrace their God- filled purpose and passion for the glory of God. Helping them to grasp the victorious and abundant life God has purposed for them to live in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Our Vision
Our vision is to bring women together, as a part of the body of Christ, to equip and encourage them through anointed speakers and Spirit-filled worship. We hope to be used by God to draw women into a closer and more intimate relationship with Him through the study of the Word. We strive for greater unity together as women in the body of Christ by praying for one another and interceding for our city and province, children and youth, our government, and pastors.
Our Statement of Faith
We believe in one God who is all knowing, all present and all-powerful.
We believe in the Triune, God existing in three equal persons Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the full deity and humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God who was conceived by the Holy Spirit born of the Virgin Mary.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Word of God who became flesh and died at the cross as the only acceptable sacrificial atonement accepted by God the Father to reconcile us to Him.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Triune God who after the resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ was sent by the Father to indwell us and as believers enable us to live a holy life, to witness and fulfill our purpose on this earth.
We believe that personal Salvation is a gift from God. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God" Ephesians 2:8
We believe as it is written that "if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back to earth. However, no one knows the exact time when Jesus is coming again. “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be on guard! Be alert . You do not know when that time will come." Mark 13:32-33
We believe as Christians we all have a purpose to advance the kingdom. We have unity and diversity of spiritual gifts given by God through the Holy Spirit to edify the body of Christ. We are the body of Christ, Christ being the head and we are His body functioning according to His purpose.
We believe the Bible is God’s Word given by inspiration through the Holy Spirit. "But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:14-17
We believe the importance of a personal intimate relationship with God to grow spiritually. We are being transformed from glory to glory to achieve sanctification. Jesus is working in us to present us as the spotless bride of Christ. "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me." John 15:4
We believe God created man in His own image to have fellowship with Himself and be the administrator over His creation. Each person has been created unique. “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Psalm 139:13-14
