This retreat marks a new season for our ministry as we have lost our matriarch and founder of Blessed Beyond Belief, Gina Bauman. As our team approached the planning of this retreat, we had literally just celebrated her going home to be with Jesus. Gina touched so many lives - and she made sure she touched each one with a little Jesus. These retreats were her way of reaching and teaching women (and their families) that there is so much more than the hurt and heartache of today's world ... that Jesus came so that we can have an abundant life (John 10:10). So now, we receive the torch she's passed onto to us and we will fan the flame!
For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, 7 for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. ~2 Timothy 1:6

Cassie is a passionate lover of Jesus. She carries the fire of the Holy Spirit and spreads it wherever she goes. Her greatest desire is to see others come alive for Jesus in a greater measure and grab hold of the promises God has given them. She learned early on that the lies the world plants into our hearts and minds play a huge role in how deep we will go in our walk with Christ. She has a desire to cast down every lie and replace it with God's biblical truth. Some of Cassie's earliest testimonies are being set free from the bondage of abortion and error. Upon salvation, the Lord spoke to her and commissioned her to "Go share your testimony!” She has been doing that ever since and has recently authored a book titled, "Finding Freedom: A Personal Exodus from Error to Identity".
Cassie carries a prophetic preaching gift that reaches deep into the hearts of those she is speaking to. She loves to flow in the prophetic gift God has placed upon her life. She leads a prayer group every Tuesday morning in Gladewater, TX praying for our nation and leaders and seeking God about what he is doing here and now. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever; but He is always doing something new!
She and her husband live in Gilmer, TX and attend Bethesda Church in Lindale. They have three young boys and Cassie loves teaching them to hear God's voice. She sees the value God has placed on her children and believes they are never too young to begin engaging with what God is doing in their lives as well. Cassie's husband, Galen, is a drummer at Bethesda and is a worshipper for Jesus. Together they are partnering with God in this present move and giving him their "YES!"
