On a daily basis we are bombarded with images which are intended to reflect the “good life.” We see bundles of cash, palatial homes, expensive cars, designer clothing, extravagant jewelry, and on, and on, and on. We see it, we want it, and we pursue it. Noticeably absent from the barrage? God. How can anyone truly have a good life without God? Unfortunately, we have become a society where the pursuit of worldly possessions, seems to have taken His place as the center of life and happiness. So many of us mistakenly dedicate our lives to pursuing temporary earthly riches, rather than heavenly riches which will last for all eternity.
