As a ministry leader for over 25 years Evelyn uses the message of her own experiences along with the Word of God to empower those who want to see the promises of God manifested in their own lives. She is an Ordained Minister, Theology Professor, Published Author, and a Certified Writing Coach & Communications Specialist.
She served as founder and president of Women of Promise International Ministries Inc. for 14 years a nonprofit outreach ministry offering hope and healing to women.
Evelyn along with her late husband Pastor Scott Taylor were the founding pastors of Good News Bible Church in Gaithersburg, Maryland, and Good News Global Ministries in Wesley Chapel, Florida were they served until 2010 until his health failed.
After 10 years as caregiver for her husband she offers a message of hope and encouragement to those caring for loved ones. Her message of self-care for the caregiver resonates with those who are feeling overwhelmed and don't know what to do.
She serves on the advisory board of Senior Connection Center Inc. and is a volunteer for AARP. These community connections keep her in touch with the needs and resources available to caregivers.
She has earned an AD in nursing, BA in Women's Studies; MA & PHD in Ministry God has blessed her to have multiple guest appearances on Homekeepers with Arthelene Rippy, Atlanta Live, blog talk radio and other local media outlets. She a member of Advanced Writers and Speakers Association, Christian Women Speakers, and Word Weavers International.
Using the platform that God has given her she has seen lives transformed. Her passion is to wake up the dream that is inside of you. Fear is a major dream killer. Many times because of fear people abort their dreams and get stuck. God has a plan for each of our lives and until we walk in it we will not experience true fulfillment. God's plan is that we not only profess the promises of Scripture but to possess them as well.
