I love connecting women to God and His Word and to each other - whether around my table or at a women's event. Women are lonely--and can be surprised that they are--at different life seasons. God loves community with Him at the center. God wants deep intimacy with us, His children, and He wants us to grow up in Him and His Word.
I've been speaking for over 20 years. My specialty is women's retreats and day conferences. I have 7 retreat series from which to choose, although given enough time, I can tailor to your theme. Sue was an awesome Women’s Retreat speaker for our weekend retreat. She is humorous and her teaching is Bible-based. Our women really loved her. I would highly recommend Sue as a speaker.

My husband was Sue Moore Donaldson's pastor in her late teens. Even then, she had a seeking heart for God.......I was always blessed to have her ask me so many Jesus-related questions that were not the customary teens' questions. I have prayed for her through these years....have watched her develop the gifts God has given her, and have been thrilled with the way she has touched others' lives. When I see how she handles God's Word, her ability to "see" into peoples' heart-needs, and her determination to "stick to the point," her skill in communication, I truly marvel at such a display of God's grace and calling on her life.....she is a true gift to anyone who has opportunity to hear her, read her words, or know her.

Sue is a very engaging speaker, not only presenting Biblical principles, but practical ways of implementing the material she presents. She is not afraid to share from her own experiences, and in being vulnerable with her audience, she comes across not as one above the rest, but as one coming along side to encourage her listeners. She holds the attention of her audience with her ability to be both serious and humorous in the stories she weaves into the content of her teaching. She gives examples as “hooks” upon which the hang truth...a very effective teaching method used by our Lord himself!

Sue is a dynamic, motivational and conversational speaker. When Sue presents it's as if she is sitting at your table sharing a cup of coffee with you. She offers such good practical advice on living the Christian life gleaned from real-life experience that you want her to keep going. As I remember glancing around the room at our women, I can see that each one was focusing on Sue’s every word as though they were going to be next in the conversation. Sue was telling her stories and giving examples of hospitality as though she was sitting at each woman’s table with a cup of coffee in hand. The women were nodding and wanted to relate their similar experiences. Then Sue guided us through Scripture to give every effort of hospitality significance by showing us God’s point of view on us, our gifts, and our purposes. Within minutes we all realized that Sue was leading us to a profound motivation for opening our homes to others. Sue was painting a living word scene of all the implications of Christ’s invitation to “Come”. We left the retreat with a renewed awe at the presence of God in our lives, a deeper sense of purpose in finding our own version of hospitality, and a boldness to say the same words Jesus said: “Come”.

I’ve known Sue for several years and she’s the real deal. She lives the talk. Sue was instrumental to my getting to meet several women when I first came to the church we both attended. Her kitchen was under construction and that didn’t faze her one bit, nor any of the rest of us who have come to her house multiple times. It’s about the people not the place you meet. Her door is always open, and I have been blessed by it.

This lady is a joy and a kick. Sue’s teaching has been such a blessing to me! She has totally challenged me to love God with my whole life, reminding me of His steadfast love for me. She exhorts and encourages with grace, which just flow out of her loving devotion to Him and His word. She always speaks with a spoonful of sugar and makes me happy to be spurred on! She makes me laugh at myself and at this life we all share. The Lord has blessed her with a winsome humor and a timely word. I’ve been so blessed and delighted to come under her teaching. Sue, is a very beautiful, unique combination of pure wit and deep solid Biblical conviction. I always find myself at the literal edge of my seat when she speaks. She makes me laugh wholeheartedly at myself, simultaneously thinking deeply upon the truths of God. After being with Sue, whether it be after a formal Woman Bible Study teach time, a small group time, or just time in her living room or at her dining table... I leave inspired, and with a real and better understanding of what God is calling me to personally. Both relatively new to the area and tasked with finding a speaker for our Women’s Retreat, we were praying for the Lord to bring us just that person. When He brought us to Sue, we knew that we had found the one that we had been looking for. Sue is so genuine and her messages were perfect for our group. Her biblical knowledge is excellent and her understanding and insights into our common daily struggles and triumphs are surely God-given. Sue’s humor was a bonus that delighted us all. Sue recently spoke to our moms (moms with at least one child in middle school or younger) on the topic of hospitality, and she really blessed all of us. There was a lot of good feedback as to how she positively impacted them; some of them with the idea that they and their homes don't have to be perfect for God to use them to reach out to others. I would give her all 5's below but the circles only go up to 4 for some reason.

Sue shared with our MOPS group this year on the topic of hospitality. She challenged us to open our homes and shared ways that we could do so, even as mothers with young children. When we did our survey at the end of the year, her talk was the one our moms were most excited about and rated it as most life-changing. I highly recommend Sue!
