Trusting God's Faithfulness: 3 Promises to Stand On
I was paralyzed in circumstances I didn't know how to navigate. Remarriage after a messy divorce, blending a family with four kids, and my new stepmom role brought isolation, loneliness, and discouragement. Would God show up? He had been faithful before, and I trusted He would be faithful again.
God is there for every season. I've learned to trust Him as my guide, my companion, my counselor, my comforter, my encourager on hard days, and so much more. He shows up every time.
As I trust God's faithfulness, I rely on three promises: God is my portion, God is my refuge, and God is my comforter. We can find hope and encouragement for every circumstance as we focus on the presence of God and His provision rather than the presence of our problems and inadequacies.
