Colossians 2:7. 7 Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.
What does it really mean to live a Godly life? How would our day begin and end if we lived as He intended? I need to start my day with Gratitude. If we are only grateful when life is going good. Then we don’t know anything about having Christ like character. But to be just as grateful when things are not going our way, is to have hope and to know there is nothing God can’t fix. If we can find something to be grateful for when our kids are grabbing at our last nerve, if we can be grateful for something that our husbands do right, or grateful for one little thing our co-worker says that makes any sense we are living as He intended. We can always find something to be grateful for. But oh my gosh we all know how to complain. What if everyone turned those complaints into praise. Let's rejoice and know that He is God! I’ll betcha God could get his work done here on earth a whole lot faster.
