It’s awesome that God allows me to minister in His name and have so much fun! I am a freelance writer (my poem, Freedom's Glory, was displayed in the White House, and I am the author of the book, Lord, Help! Here Comes Mom!). Drawing from God's Word and my own life experiences, I share in a style that elicits laughter, tears, and understanding. My prayer is that God will continue to use me as a vessel for communicating His amazing love and grace to women around the world. Women's groups are as varied as the stars in the sky, and God has blessed me by allowing me to minister to His precious daughters. My preferred engagement is one where women are seeking to know God more deeply, follow His leading, and ready to laugh, cry, learn, and share. The perfect weekend retreat? A 70-year-old lady sang "How Great Thou Art," bringing everyone to tears. Minutes later, a pastor's wife put a fake mouse on my pillow, and the ladies watched me run out of my room screaming!

| As the keynote speaker for our Women's Weekend Celebration, Terrie Johnson captured the hearts of the audience with her honesty and humor. She presented God's Word and His work in her life in a straightforward manner using anecdotes from everyday life. In a specific example, a woman who attended the retreat at the urging of a friend was so touched by Terrie's presentations, friendliness and the sharing of her own personal testimony that she committed her life to Christ that weekend. By the end of the weekend, each of us felt as though we had been friends with Terrie for years!
