Transparent and relational
The Bible teaches that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalms 34:18) My desire is to encourage women to forgive; first by sharing my personal story of betrayal and loss followed by showing Gods design for binding up the wounds of the brokenhearted (Psalms 147:3) and finally teaching tried and true ways of remaining in daily forgiveness. I am a homeschooling mother of four and a wife of 24 years. I currently serve in my church by teaching a weekly womens bible study on forgiveness. I enjoy speaking on a variety of topics such as; the Beatitudes, recovery issues, various Biblical figures including Rahab and the woman at the well and more. I have a heart to encourage women to grown and deepen their faith in a practical way with my relational, humoristic style. I am a down to earth speaker who is transparent and authentic and I have a deep desire to point women to the Lord!

  • Figuring out Forgiveness
  • By God’s design, the wounds of the heart need intimate, loving care in order to properly heal. The Bible teaches that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalms 34:18) Figuring Out Forgiveness is a lifeline that will help the hurting find much needed comfort for their broken hearts. Often in today’s world, heart wounds are neglected and therefore become infected with bitterness. Once the Lord properly binds the wounds of the brokenhearted (Psalms 147:3), only then can we find true deliverance from bitterness and the courage to forgive.
  • Rahab - what do I have in common with her?
  • This is the ultimate rags to riches story. Rahab goes from being famous for her profession, to famous for her faith. Her life teaches us that it truly doesn’t matter what kind of past we’ve had. When we choose to live by faith God can accomplish amazing things in our lives. He can take the most immoral person and completely transform them. No one else has the power to redeem and restore us like God can.
  • Am I a dyslexic Christian?
  • My oldest daughter has always struggled with mixing up words. One of her most amusing mix-ups happened just days after we had had our first “good touch/bad touch” talk. I had read that it was best to use the proper names when talking about private parts - so that’s what I did. A few days later as I was preparing her favorite meal she announced with excitement, “Mommy made my favorite dinner…vagina!” In truth, it was lasagna that was baking the oven but there was no convincing my little girl that she had in fact mixed up her words. Throughout dinner she entertained us with her non-stop declaration of love for this – her favorite food. “I just love lasagna! Lasagna’s my favorite! May I please have some more of this delicious lasagna?” Only she wasn’t saying Lasagna. That memory has become one of our family favorites. And over the years God has revealed that in many ways I do the same thing that my sweet little daughter used to do. I can read something in Scripture and some
  • Caring for the Brokenhearted
  • As Christians, sometimes we don't know how to support and encourage others when they've been hurt. In my own life, many of my sisters in Christ gave me well-meaning, but hurtful advice when I was heartbroken by my husband's betrayal. Let's learn how to be loving, supportive and encouraging in helping each other through difficult times!
  • Forgiving God?
  • All things happen for a reason, right? Who's to blame when bad things happen to us? It feels like a sin to even admit it, but sometimes we feel betrayed by God and harbor resentment against Him. Let's discover through the example of David, that it's ok to express ourselves to God in a real way - and restore our relationship to Him!
  • Support and Encourage
  • It's so easy to be a 'fixer'. For all of us, when we are hurt, we gravitate towards the people who are most supportive and encouraging. Learn how to be the special friend who knows how to support and encourage when your loved ones are dealing with life's inevitable pain.
Kim's life experience as a wife, mother, friend and follower of Christ gives her moral authority to speak on this subject. She has been through the fire and has found that God is faithful. While we are all taught the forgiveness is a choice (which is true), Kim reminds us that it is also a journey. Kim has walked this road and can lead others down the path to emotional, relational and spiritual health.
The messages were all so wonderful and encouraging. They made you feel like you were not alone and that forgiveness is a huge process, but very possible. Kim's speaking was heartfelt and warm.
The class was life-changing. I can't say enough. I don't see resentment and anger the same!!! The part of the lesson that ministered the most to me was that we have a right to be angry and that we could share it and give it to God. We cannot hurt others with our anger. It is not a sin to be angry. I did not know this. Kim's delivery is clear and heartfelt. I have been around many speakers in real estate and your delivery was great!!!
