Tamala is a devoted Christian, Author, Speaker, Coach, and Founder of Pursuing Christ Ministries. For many years, she dedicated her professional career to healthcare, helping those the sick and injured. However, after being shattered by a profound personal crisis, she was led to a spiritual awakening deepening her connection with the Lord.
Because of her transformation, Tamala now seeks to guide and inspire others in their faith, encouraging them to overcome their challenges. She has personally weathered a multitude of hardships, including divorce, alcoholism within her family, financial crisis, a child’s significant health issues, and her own physical and psychological health struggles.
Recognizing a Divine calling from the Lord, she writes messages of hope and encouragement to uplift and guide others. She now has published her first 30-day devotional book, Starting the Journey, and shares her exciting message of overcoming.
She continues to lead bible study and facilitates her local church’s women’s ministry. She is committed to helping others know the Lord and to overcome their difficulties and trials. In addition, she continues to work as an oncology nurse practitioner and enjoys her time as a loving mother to three children and as a grandmother.

Our Church family has been privileged to experience Tamala Anderson’s gift of speaking. Tamala delivers an engaging, relatable message that resonates with both women and men, as well as mature and young learners. It is evident by her clear, enthusiastic voice that she has been speaking on various subjects for years, but it is the love of Jesus that you hear and feel in her speaking that draws you in. I am looking forward to an opportunity to hear her speak again.

Tamala is a dynamic and energetic speaker that is filled with the Holy Spirit. Â Her extensive medical career has provided her with the ability to relate to people in all walks of life. Â She has used her own personal crisis to encourage and strengthen those around her. Her smile and love for God light up every room she enters. Â
