When will I get to go speak somewhere?

That depends...

This is a "directory," sort of like a Yellow Pages. We have thousands of event planners who come here when they want to find speakers.

Most begin by searching the map, near their own home. In an ever broadening circle, they widen their search until they find the speaker that matches their need.

As I type this FAQ, it is Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 12:35 PM. I just finished sorting emails. One was pretty typical: "Just 2 days ago I received an invitation to speak... just because they saw me on your website and I was a match for them!" She went on to write, "It is only the 2nd or 3rd hit I've received that led to someone actually contacting me."

While this speaker was excited about the new opportunity, she seemed disappointed about receiving "only" 2 or 3 contacts since she registered.

Our question is this: If even ONE planner finds out about you because of your listing here, and she wouldn't have found you otherwise, would it be worth it?

2. Provide an inviting, comfortable and safe place for event planners to find you.
